DESCRIPTION Waterborne, natural-oil-based pearlescent wood stain. The binder in Valtti Arctic is vegetable oil alkyd.
PRODUCT FEATURES Valtti Arctic protects the wood against weathering and retards the absorption of moisture into the wood. It gives also protection against sun light.
   
RECOMMENDED USES Exterior walls, fences and milieu constructions, untreated or previously with translucent wood stains treated wood structures. Suitable for logs, sawn and planed wood surfaces, impregnated and thermally modified wood.

Colour Range Tinting according to Tikkurila Arctic colour card. 
  Always use a tinted product. The final colour can be seen after the surface has dried. 
Gloss grade undefined
Coverage For sawn wood surfaces 4-8 m²/l,  for logs and planed wood surfaces     8-12 m²/l.
Can sizes 0.9 l, 2.7 l and 9 l
Thinner Water
Application method Brush 
Drying time at 23°C and 50% relative air humidity Touch-dry after 2-3 hours, recoatable after 24 hours. Avoid mechanical stress during the first days after the application as the surface has not achieved its final hardness yet.
Solids volume Approx. 26% depending upon the colour.
Density n. 1.0 kg/l, ISO 2811.
Storage Protect from frost. Close an opened can carefully. Use the contents of an opened can during the same painting period, product properties may change in a partially filled can.
