Vario® KB1 is a one-sided adhesive tape for ISOVER Vario® Xtra and other vapor barrier joints.

Vario® KB1 is a one-sided adhesive tape for bonding ISOVER Vario® Xtra and other vapor bar joints, providing a hermetic connection. The tape is suitable for gluing on PE, PA, PU, PP and aluminum films, on paper and plastic, as well as on OSB and particle boards. The tape is for indoor use only.

Steam barrier seams should be made with at least 100mm overlap. The surface before bonding the tape should be dry, clean and dust free. When installing the tape, the air temperature must be above -10˚C. At lower temperatures, the adhesive surface and adhesive tape should be heated before installation.

Store in dry rooms with a relative humidity of max. 65% at ambient temperature
