Field of Application

Histolith® Antik-Lasur (Antique Wall Glaze) is a glaze concentrate for creating decorative semi-transparent paint coats (glaze/scumble coat) using historical examples of coatings.
Particularly suitable for texture preserving translucent coats on natural stones.

Material Properties

• High weather resistance.
• Water-repellent, w-value = 0.05 kg/m2√h
• High water vapour permeability, sd-value < 0.01 m
• Highly permeable to carbon dioxide.

Potassium silicate (water glass) with organic additives according to DIN 18 363, section 2.4.1

Colours

White transparent.

The product can be tinted to a max. of 30 % with Histolith® Volltonfarben SI (colourants) or tinted Histolith® Außenquarz.  Also tintable via the ColorExpress tinting & mixing machine system using inorganic colourants (colour pastes). Determine the desired colour shade and transparency by trial coatings.
