Description

Ceresit CT 77 is used for applying decorative colourful plasters to traditional plasters, concrete substrates, gypsum substrates and chipboards, gypsum cardboards, etc. Transparent silicone-acrylic resins are the binder and coloured quartz gravels size 1.0-1.6 mm or 1.4-2.0 mm which are the fi llers. This material is designed for applying with a metal long fl oat. When it is set, the colourful plaster is obtained. The properties of the material allow for bridging the existing scratches in the substrate.

CT 77 is especially recommended to be applied to the exposed to abrasion walls inside the buildings, e.g. at the entrance, corridors, staircases. Outside the buildings, CT 77 is recommended on the substrates easy to get dirty: on the pedestals, railings, door and window frames. In case of the intense dark colours, the application of CT 77 as the façade layer within Ceresit Ceretherm Systems with EPS should be limited to small areas, e.g. pedestals or architectural details. BioProtect formula is end durable protection form biological paralyses, e.g. fungus, mould and algae. Due to special capsules with biological agent realising of the substances is under control and ensure long term effect.

The whole content of the container should be manually stirred. If the need appears, it is possible to adjust the product consistency to the application conditions by adding a small amount of clean water and mixing again. Too much addition of water makes the application of the material impossible. Neither rusty containers nor tools can be used. CT 77 should be evenly applied on the substrate at the thickness of one and a half grain size by means of a steel long float held at the angle. The surface should be smoothened with the same tool before it becomes dry. It should not be strongly pressed to the substrate.

Do not sprinkle plaster with water! Do not form the structure!

Work should be done on one surface without breaks, keeping the same product consistency. If there is a need to stop working, the self-adhesive tape should be applied along the previously fixed line. Then plaster should be applied, structure formed, and tape torn off with the plaster remaining on it. After a break, the application should be continued from the fi xed place. The edge of the previously applied plaster can be protected with selfadhesive tape.
