This differential room thermostat contains two 16A / 230V contacts connected in series. The first one (blue scale) is for switching off (+20...-20°C) - when the temperature drops below a set value, the contact switches off. The second one (red scale) is for switching on (+25...0°C) – when there is a drop under a set value, the contact switches on. A temperature interval “From-To” (e.g. from -10°C do +5°C) can be set for which the connected appliance (e.g. heating cable) will be powered. The thermostat can also be placed in outdoor areas (e.g. on a facade). NOTE: The thermostat measures only temperature - it doesn´t monitor the presence of water, snow or ice. In anti-ice protection applications (the protection of roof gutters and downpipes, drives, pavements, steps, etc.) it is necessary to supervise the operation of the system in order to achieve economical operation. |
