tesa® 4840 consists of a stable, ribbed film backing which is coated with an uv-resistant natural rubber based adhesive. This special design allows a demasking without any difficulties and residues even after outdoor applications up to six weeks. Due to the ribbed backing the tape is easily tearable by hand.tesa® 4840 has especially been developed to protect precious and sensitive smooth surfaces against dirt and damage during all kinds of painting and plastering work. The tape is suitable for applications above 5°C.
