Field of Application

Suitable for interior coatings, subjected to wear, showing a silk-matt surface finish. Particularly suitable for textured substrates, e.g. to paint over woodchip/ingrain wallpapers, relief and embossed wallpapers or Capaver glass fabric wall coverings.

Latex Samt 10 can be tinted with CaparolColor or AmphiColor® (AVA) colourants. If more than one bucket/container is manually tinted, all product must be thoroughly mixed before use in order to avoid colour differences. Quantities of 100 litres or more in individual colour shades may be ordered ready-tinted ex factory.

Latex Samt 10 is tintable to all current colour collections via the ColorExpress tinting & mixing machine system. Check tinted product before applying to avoid colour differences. Always use tinted paint of same batch, when applying on seamless surfaces.

When applying colour shades of low opacity (hiding/covering power), e.g. red, orange or yellow, it is advisable to previously apply one priming coat of Caparol-Haftgrund in the matching priming system colour, available via the ColorExpress technique. Possibly a second finishing coat may be necessary.
