Field of application

A non-flowing adhesive suitable for gluing tiles, clinker and moisture-resistant stone on vinyl, painted, tile, clinker and other surfaces such as plasterboard treated with Kiilto waterproofing membrane or Kiilto Kosteusulku waterproofing. Also suitable for outdoor work. Not recommended for use in areas that are permanently under water, such as swimming pools. Also suitable for heated floors.
The surface must be clean and free of dust. Clean water-soluble leveling compounds from the surface. Dry and absorbent surfaces should be primed with diluted Kiilto Start Primer or moistened with water. The boards must be primed with undiluted Kiilto Start Primer. When tiling over vinyl, painted, old tile and clinker surfaces, make sure the surface is firm and check the adhesion of the tiling surface to the old substrate. Remove wax, grease and dirt with an alkaline solution and rinse thoroughly. After drying, if necessary, the surface can be sanded with sandpaper. Clean the sanding dust thoroughly. The floor heating should be switched off approx. 24h before tiling.

Consumption

Approx. 3 kg/m² using a standard robot blade (notch: 6 mm x 6 mm x 6 mm) approx. 2 kg/m2 when using a trowel for mosaic tiles (notch: 4 mm x 4 mm x 4 mm).

Storage: In unopened packaging max. 1 year in dry conditions.

Consumption: Approx. 3 kg/m² using a standard robot blade (notch: 6 mm x 6 mm x 6 mm) approx. 2 kg/m2 when using a trowel for mosaic tiles (notch: 4 mm x 4 mm x 4 mm).
