Retro block with width of 200/300, that is already known from last century is now available in new quality. AEROC Universal is a building block that may be layed just as the builder wants:

AEROC Universal blocks are made of porous concrete with dry tightness of 425 kg/m³ and normalised compressive strength of fb=2,5 N/mm². Universal blocks are produced in measurements of 600x300x200.

 Unlike other AEROC blocks, face plates of the Universal blocks are smooth. This enables to lay the blocks edgewise (width of 200 mm) and flatwise (width of 300 mm). It is especially effective to build 200 mm walls – when laying the blocks edgewise, the consumption is only 5,6 blocks/m². This is why the Universal blocks are suitable for using on big building objects, where it is important to build 200 mm walls quickly and with a cheap price.

The blocks can be used for building both - bearing and nonbearing walls. The wall that is built of Universal blocks needs excessive heat insulation.

 Advantages of using AEROC Universal blocks:

·         Cheaper m² price (after the campaign also).

·         The consumption of blocks on one m² is about 2 times smaller. Therefore the walls get ready very quickly.

·         Better heat-proofness, which is why the need of excessive heat insulation is smaller.

·         Better fire-resistance showers.

·         About 40% smaller weight by volume.

When laying the blocks, you can use block glue or regular wall mortar. Aeroc recommends to use block glue, because the mortar joints may cause excessive heat loss in exterior walls and it is also easier to elaborate the walls with block glue.

In case of shorter walls that are not burdened, you don’t have to fill the vertical joints. In case of bigger loads and longer walls, it is recommendable to fill the vertical joints also. A wall with filled vertical joints is air tight even when the wall is not elaborated (not plastered).
