The underlay is reinforced with a stabilized nonwoven polyester fabric layer, coated on both sides with a bitumen compound. The top side is covered with sand, while the underside is coated with a heat-sensitive film. Elastobit PV 40 is intended as a base layer in two-layer waterproofing roofing systems.
