ISOVER ACOUSTIC is an unfaced glass mineral wool board developed for sound insulation in partition walls and suspended ceiling structures. Its optimised weight-to-density ratio provides a practical and cost-effective solution for improving indoor acoustic comfort.

The board width is designed for steel-frame structures with 600 mm stud centres. The boards are normally installed between metal studs without additional mechanical fixings.

Applications: suitable for metal-framed plasterboard partitions, lightweight internal walls and suspended ceiling structures where reduced sound transmission between spaces is required.

Installation: cut the boards slightly wider than the cavity and install them tightly between the framing members. The material must fit closely against the frame, adjacent boards and construction junctions. Do not leave gaps or excessively compress the insulation.

Storage: store the packs in a dry place protected from precipitation, ground moisture and mechanical damage. Keep opened packs covered before installation. A complete Multipack pallet may only be stored outdoors in accordance with the manufacturer's packaging and storage instructions.

Safety: wear protective gloves, safety glasses, suitable work clothing and respiratory protection during cutting and installation. Clean the working area and wash hands after use.
