BWK DUO PLUS Double-Sided Reinforced Adhesive Tape 19 mm × 50 m is a double-sided tape designed for fixing vapour-control and airtightness membranes to smooth building surfaces.

The tape consists of dispersion-acrylic adhesive reinforced with a polyester carrier and protected by siliconised release paper. The reinforcement improves dimensional stability and handling during installation.

Surface preparation: the surface must be dry, clean, smooth and stable. Remove dust, grease, oil, condensation, silicone and other substances that may reduce adhesion.

Test adhesion before applying the tape to painted, coated, plastic or unfamiliar surfaces.

Application: apply the tape to the prepared surface and press it firmly along its entire length. Remove the release paper immediately before positioning the membrane.

Apply the membrane without wrinkles or excessive tension and press it firmly against the tape. Follow the membrane-system instructions for overlaps and permanent mechanical fixing.

Application temperature: the specified installation temperature is approximately +5 to +30 °C. Low temperatures may reduce the initial adhesive strength.

Storage: store in the original packaging in dry and cool conditions, protected from sunlight, moisture, dust and mechanical damage.
