BWK SOLID TAPE UNI Universal Airtight Sealing Tape 60 mm × 25 m, White is a flexible, single-sided high-performance tape for airtight and windtight sealing of vapour-control membranes, roofing underlays and wind-protection membranes.

The tape is based on a flexible LDPE-CoEx film carrier and uses a special pure-acrylate dispersion adhesive. It combines strong initial adhesion, flexibility, moisture resistance and good ageing resistance.

Surface preparation: the surface must be dry, clean, stable and free from dust, grease, oil, silicone, condensation, frost and other substances that may impair adhesion.

Carry out an adhesion test on coated, painted, plastic, porous or unfamiliar substrates. Weak or dusty surfaces may require a compatible primer.

Application: cut the required tape length and partially remove the release paper. Position the tape without wrinkles or excessive tension. Gradually remove the liner and press the tape firmly over its full width.

Use a suitable pressure roller or applicator to improve contact between the adhesive and substrate.

Application temperature: the recommended installation temperature is from +5 to +30 °C. Low temperatures may reduce initial adhesion.

Service temperature: after proper installation, the tape is suitable for temperatures of approximately -40 to +100 °C.

Storage: store in the original packaging in dry conditions at room temperature. Protect from sunlight, moisture, frost, excessive heat and mechanical damage.
