Application
ADHESION
Air temperature during application: +5°C to +35°C. Make sure that the ambient temperature remains within this range until the foam has fully cured.
Can temperature during application: +10°C to +30°C, best results at +20°C.
Surface preparation
Remove dust, dirt and oil stains from surfaces. Moisten dry substrates by spraying with water (only at temperatures above zero) for best results. Protect adjacent surfaces with paper, plastic film or other suitable material. If necessary, use additional weather protection (rain, wind, etc.) when working outdoors.
Usage
Shake the foam can thoroughly at least 20 times. Remove the cap. Hold the foam can in an upright position with the valve facing up. Screw the foam can tightly onto the gun, holding the gun handle with one hand and screwing the can onto the can with the other. Make sure the gun is not pointed at people. Avoid screwing the can onto the gun with the valve facing down. Do not screw the gun onto the can. Do not bend or turn the can while screwing. The working position of the can after attachment is with the bottom facing up. The foam flow can be adjusted with the gun trigger and the adjustment screw.
Fill the joint by approximately 65%, as the foam expands. When filling larger joints, apply the foam in several layers and moisten the foam between layers for better results.
This foam hardens faster than regular foam. Clean the tip of the gun during breaks.
After hardening, cut off excess foam.
Cleaning
Use Penosil Foam Cleaner to clean tools and surfaces from unhardened foam. Hands, clothes and the foam gun can also be cleaned from unhardened foam with Penosil Cleaning Wipes. Hardened foam can be removed mechanically after softening with Penosil Foam Remover.
