A two-component water-based universal rust converter-primer that penetrates deep into rust and transforms it into a hard, irreversible polymer layer up to 120 µm thick, completely stopping corrosion. Designed for the treatment of rusted, non-rusted and galvanized metal surfaces before painting. Applicable in construction, transport or shipbuilding and repair, repair of agricultural machinery, tanks, pipelines, etc. Consists of component No. 1 (basic materials) and component No. 2 (orthophosphoric acid). Intended for internal and external work.
SURFACE PREPARATION: It is not necessary to completely clean the surface from corrosion. Cleaning of dirt, loose, exfoliated rust and degreasing must be carried out.
SURFACE TREATMENT: Mix thoroughly before adding component No. 2 to component No. 1. After 20 minutes, the mixture can be used for surface treatment with a brush, roller or sprayer. Can be applied on a wet surface. The deck can be painted with any type of paint. If necessary, it can be sprinkled with water. Wash tools and hands with water.
CONSUMPTION: Depending on the surface 1l/8-10m² (0.5l/4-5m²).
DRYING TIME: 2-4h at a temperature of 20°C, complete polymerization - 24h.
STORAGE: Store and use between 3°C and 25°C, expiration date on package.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Type and effect: Two-component water-based polymer system that transforms corrosion products, completely stops the corrosion process, creating a durable coating (primer color), tolerable spots (depending on the intensity of the rust). It consists of a base mass with effective additives capable of deep absorption into a thick layer of rust, and orthophosphoric acid. A phosphate layer up to 20 µm thick is formed on the metal surface. The total thickness of the coating depends on the thickness of the layer of corrosion products, from 30 mkm on clean metal to 120 mkm on rusted metal.
As a result of polymerization, a layer of rust up to 120 µm thick is transformed into a hard, irreversible film, which can be repainted with any type of paint - perchlorvinyl, polyvinyl chloride, epoxy, polyester, polyurethane, alkyd, organosilicon, oil, nitrocellulose water emulsion, bitumen, etc. varnish-paint materials. After treatment (without topcoat), repeated rust in atmospheric conditions has not been observed on test samples earlier than 5 years.
Application: Intended for the treatment of rusty metal surfaces in building structures, road transport, shipbuilding and repair, railway transport, bridge construction, cisterns, pipelines, repair of tin roofs, as well as posts, fences, gates, doors, gutters, metal garden furniture, park equipment, etc. for priming before painting. Used for outdoor and indoor work. CAN BE USED ON PURE METAL, OLD COATING, GALVANIZED SURFACES.
Surface preparation: Labor-intensive and expensive surface treatment (sandblasting, etc.) is not required until complete cleaning of corrosion products. The surface is cleaned of dirt, loose, exfoliating rust using a hand metal brush or with electric hand tools. If the surface is oily, degrease it with thinner, if it is not oily, degrease with soapy water. Can also be applied on a wet surface.
Application: Before use, add 5-7% orthophosphoric acid to the base mass, mix thoroughly, hold for up to 20 min., then treat the rusty surface with the finished mixture with a brush, roller or paint sprayer. After 2 hours (+20ºC), the rusting process is completely stopped. Complete polymerization, depending on air temperature and atmospheric humidity, takes place within 2-15 hours. Priming should be avoided if the surface is exposed to direct sunlight, as too intense drying may result in the corrosion products not being completely transformed. When working in outdoor conditions, it should be taken into account that the work should be carried out with such a calculation that complete polymerization occurs before the start of rain, otherwise the composition will be washed off the treated surface. The composition must be applied 100% to the entire treated surface. The topcoat must be applied 100% to the entire treated surface. Good results are achieved using epoxy-based paint materials as a topcoat.

If necessary, dilute with water. Wash tools and hands with water. Environmentally friendly, fire and explosion proof.
