SCOPE OF APPLICATION:
The basic profile of the self-adhesive PU-tape window sill is used to ensure a safe and tight connection between the window sill and the thermal insulation composite system. The profile protects the insulation system from mechanical damage and ensures vertical drainage of excess water.

INSTALLATION:
Positioning of the profile: Place the base profile of the window sill horizontally in the cutout of the insert on the outer edge of the insulation material at the height of the profile using a reinforcing joint.
Making a connection: Press the network attached to the base profile onto the connection. Smooth the part of the joint that comes out through the mesh until it is even. Then, gradually cover the remaining mesh with the joint layer before placing the prepared window sill in position.
Preparation: Before attaching the window sill to the self-adhesive base profile, make sure that the window sill is flat and clean (free of grease, dirt, dust, soot, moss, etc.). If necessary, clean the gluing surface before installing the profile.
Gluing: To glue the window sill to the profile, remove the paper covering from the profile adhesive tape and press the window sill onto the gluing area. By combining the profile with the glass fiber reinforcing net, ensure a net coverage of 10 cm.
MATERIAL:
The profile is made of alkali-resistant perforated PVC profile supplemented with glass fiber reinforcing mesh and meets ETAG 004 standards.
