Fiskars X-series Wall-Mounted Kindling Splitter Set with WoodXpert XA3

Fiskars X-series Wall-Mounted Kindling Splitter Set with WoodXpert XA3 is a practical manual solution for splitting dry firewood into kindling. The wall-mounted construction holds the wood in the working position and allows it to be split with a controlled lever movement while keeping the user's hands away from the blade path.

The set is suitable for firewood measuring 180–370 mm in length. The log is positioned between the supports of the wall mount and split by moving the WoodXpert XA3 tool downwards. The lever action helps produce kindling with less physical effort than splitting with a free-hand axe.

The included WoodXpert XA3 tool can be quickly released from the wall mount using the spring-loaded locking mechanism. When detached, it can be used for cutting branches, brush and wood up to 30 mm in diameter, as well as for light clearing work.

The WoodXpert XA3 blade is made from hardened carbon steel, while the lightweight FiberComp handle features a non-slip SoftGrip surface. A safety lock keeps the blade securely in the closed position when the tool is not in use.

Installation and safety: install the unit vertically at a suitable working height on a stable, load-bearing wall. Use fixings suitable for the wall material.
