Hose garden faucet

The garden faucet is used to provide water access to the street, to the garden outside the building, it is designed to be installed through the wall.

Characteristics of garden taps

This model is resistant to frost: thanks to a special design, after closing the tap, the remaining water flows out of it under the influence of gravity, which protects it from being destroyed in winter when the water freezes. When the temperature outside the building is below 0 °C, it is recommended to remove the hose after use.

• The valve is equipped with a non-return valve.
• The maximum permissible water pressure is 1000 kPa (10 bar).
• Outer flange size 120×60 mm.
• The diameter of the inner decorative rail is 60 mm.
• Water tap outlet - 4 turns of external thread G½.
• The diameter of the drainage pipe is 18 mm.

Drill a hole in the wall Ø20-25 mm with a 3° slope to the outside of the wall. This is necessary to ensure the flow of water under the influence of gravity.

If necessary, the winter faucet can be shortened, for this purpose it is necessary to cut the sewer pipe and the shaft, measuring the same distance. Then remove the holes from the saw cut.

The minimum distance that the drainage pipe must extend from the wall is 30 mm. Then attach the valve flange.

Install a plastic plug in the indoor drain pipe to cover the hole. Install the press bracket.

Tighten the union nuts and then tighten the joint with a suitable wrench. The union nut that clamps the drain pipe (Ø18 mm) is tightened by 1 turn. Attention! Do not use a pipe (gas) wrench to tighten.

Before using the faucet, check the connection for leaks.

The removable key has a hole for a rope, hang it next to the faucet inside the building so you don't lose it.
