Alkyd primer

· Thixotropic, non-dripping
· Covers and blocks stains
· Excellent adhesion to problematic substrates
· Reduces topcoat consumption
· Binds well dust
· Easy to sand

Fields of application	Walls and ceilings in dry and damp premises, doors, furniture, interior parts of windows.
	Suitable for priming new and previously painted fibreboard and cardboard or wallpapered surfaces, concrete, plaster-treated, brick, filler-treated surfaces and surfaces needing special treatment (e.g. lime or chalk paint or chalk putty treated surfaces).
Gloss	Matt.
Coverage (per coat)	8-10m2/l -for smooth surfaces.
Tinting	The paint can be used white or tinted in lighter shades (AP-base) by Tikkurila Symphony and Feel the Color color cards. Shade accuracy not complete.
Base paints	AP base.
Application method	To be applied with a painting brush, roller or high pressure airbrush, which nozzle shall be 0,013” - 0,015” or 0,330 - 0,380 mm.
Drying time	3 hours – touch-dry, 24 hours – recoatable.
(at +23 °С, RH 50%)	Air humidity and temperature can strongly affect drying times.
Cleaning of painting tools, thinner	Special Solvent or Special Solvent Spray. Clean painting tools from liquid paint residues immediately after painting, wash with Special Solvent or Special Solvent Spray.
Storage	Unaffected by cold storage or transport.
Storage time	In tightly closed original container 2 years from production date (stated on can).
Solid content	About. 44% v/v.
Density	1,4 kg/l.
Thermostability	In dry rooms up to +100°C. Long term high temperature can cause yellowing.
