Product information 

Semi matt waterborne heat resistant acrylate paint, specially designed for radiators. Paint has very good levelling, final surface is wear-resistant and non-yellowing.

Fields of application

Radiators, metal pipes etc. indoors. Suitable also for repainting of surfaces, previously painted with powder and alkyd paints. Not suitable for electric batteries. 

Gloss Semi matt.

Coverage per coat 8-10 m2/l for smooth surface. 

Tinting The paint can be used white or tinted according to Tikkurila interior colour cards (base A). Tinted products cannot be returned or exchanged.

Application method

To be applied with painting brush, roller or high-pressure airbrush. The high-pressure airbrush nozzle shall be 0,013" - 0,015" or 0,330 - 0,380 mm. Suggested working tools Anza painting brush Elite Radiator Brush.

Drying time at +23 °С, RH 50%

Touch dry - 1-2 hours, recoatable - 24 hours. Ready to use hardness after 3 days. 

Thinner Water. The amount of thinner may be up to 5% of the paint volume.

Cleaning of painting tools

Clean painting tools from liquid paint residues, wash with soap and water.

Storage Protect the product from frost!

Storage time

In tightly closed original container until best before date. Production/ best before dates are stated on a can. Reseal once opened cans well for next use. 

Solid content About. 40% v/v.

Density

1,0-1,2 kg/l, depending on color shade (ISO 2811). Wet scrub resistance Class 1, ISO 11998. 

Thermostability In dry rooms up to 120°C.

Resistance to chemicals

Resistant to short-term exposure to household cleansers and weak solvents (white spirit). Not resistant to exposure of highly potent solvents (nitro solvent).
