Product Description

Wall 12 is a semi-matt water-borne washable paint for interior use. Product has very good adhesion and levelling, non-dripping, non-splashing. Painted surface has good wear and tear resistance. Washability > 10000 cycles. Wet scrub resistance class 1 according to ISO 11998.

Fields of application

Fields of application. Walls and ceilings in dry premises (bedrooms, children's rooms, living rooms, halls, offices, residential buildings and public premises). Suitable for new and previously painted concrete, plaster-treated, brick, filler-treated or wallpapered surfaces; plaster blocks; primed fibreboard-, cardboard surfaces.

• Gloss: Semi-matt
• Base paints: A –base
• Tinting: The paint can be used white (base A) or tinted in light shades according to Tikkurila color cards. For better hiding power it is recommended to use primer which is tinted in similar shade. Tinted products cannot be exchanged.
• Coverage (per coat): Theoretical coverage: 8-12 m²/l. Practical coverage depends on the application method, conditions, shape and roughness of the surface to be treated.
• Application method: To be applied with a painting brush, roller or airless spray (nozzle size 0,015” - 0,021” or 0,380 - 0,530 mm).
• Drying time (+23 °С, 50% relative air humidity): 0,5 hour – touch-dry, 1-2 hours – recoatable. The surfaces can be cleaned in 1 month after painting.
• Thinner: Water. The amount of thinner may be up to 5% of the paint volume.
• Storage: Protect the product from frost!
• Storage time: In tightly closed original container. Production/ best before dates are stated on a can. Reseal once opened cans well for next use.
• Solid content: About.40% v/v.
• Density: About 1,3 kg/l, depending on the colour shade. (ISO 2811).
• Wet scrub resistance: SFS-EN 13300 class 1, ISO 11998, >10 000 cycles according to SFS 3755.
• Resistance to chemicals: Resistant to short-term exposure to household cleansers and weak solvents (white spirit).
