DESCRIPTION

A water-based, odour-free sealing primer suitable for interior walls and ceilings. Designed to prevent stain migration through layers to the final paint surface and to seal and stabilise dry interior substrates such as plaster and brick.

Specially developed to isolate and block nicotine stains, smoke residues, tannins, grease and other water-soluble stains.

USE: INTERIOR APPLICATIONS

Suitable for indoor use on all standard wall and ceiling surfaces.

Suitable for coating and sealing mineral and wooden surfaces to protect against stains.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Ensure surfaces are sound, clean and dry (moisture content below 15 %; newly created surfaces must be completely dry) and free from defects or poorly adhering layers such as dust, dirt, grease or wax.

If necessary, sand with a suitable abrasive and remove dust.

For previously painted surfaces, remove damaged paint layers. Treat damaged or flaking areas with Juno Plaster. To improve adhesion, lacquered or glossy/satin-painted surfaces must be sanded until the sheen is removed.

APPLICATION

Apply using a brush, roller or spray equipment.

Apply two undiluted coats with a minimum interval of 12 hours.

Cleaning: with water.

Tinting: using water-based Junoral Water or Universal Juno colorants, not exceeding 2 %.

Subsequent coats: any elastic paint.

Stir thoroughly until a uniform consistency is achieved.

Work description

Mix thoroughly before use.

Apply one coat of Aquatapa to clean or stained surfaces and allow to dry.

Observe the recommended application temperature and drying time (20 °C, relative humidity 65 %).

Film thickness, temperature and humidity may affect drying time.

When blocking stains caused by water or moisture, ensure the root cause has been eliminated. Start by applying Aquatapa Stain Block Primer, then seal with a coat of Aquatapa.

Finish by coating the surface with the JUNO paint system.

Do not apply on surfaces below 5 °C or excessively heated.

CLEANING

Clean splashes immediately with soapy water or a suitable solvent. Clean tools after use and allow them to dry before storage. Dispose of packaging and paint residues in accordance with local regulations and environmental protection principles.
