Application: Interior – wooden floors, ladders and furniture.

Drying time: 18 – 24 hours at temperature +20 (± 2) ̊C. Lower temperatures, humid air and wood extend the drying time.

Surface preparation:

the wood must be clean and dry;

the surface must be completely free of residues of previously applied chemical paints;

we recommend to do the work at +10°C – +25°C;

Consumption*:

Pine/ spruce ~15 – 18 m2/L

Hardwood (oak/ ash) ~35 -40 m2/L

Workflow:      

Surface lubrication with colourless oil with hard wax:

apply with a brush, velour roller or lubrication machine;

divide into sectors the surface to be lubricated;

for a high quality coating, the oil should be applied in 1-2 thin layers, taking into account the absorbency of the wood;

in the first layer the oil is applied as thin and evenly as possible;

after the application, allow the product to soak for 15-20 minutes, any excess oil that has not soaked into the surface should be wiped thoroughly with paper towels, a lint-free cloth or a polishing disc. After removing the oil residue, make sure that there is no excess oil on the floor surface and the surface feels dry to the touch. The oil must not be allowed to dry on the wooden surface, as it leaves glossy stains on the floor;

before the second layer is applied wait at least 24 hours;

if necessary, apply the second layer – the course of work is identical to the first layer.

When performing surface (floor) tinting:

For the first layer we recommend using Paint Eco stain or Light linseed oil varnish, which prevents yellowing of the surface;

after the application, allow the product to soak for 15-20 minutes, any excess oil that has not soaked into the surface should be wiped thoroughly with paper towels, a lint-free cloth or a polishing disc. After removing the oil residue, make sure that there is no excess oil on the floor surface and the surface feels dry to the touch.
