MAPELASTIC ZERO

Two-component cement-based mortar that remains elastic down to -20 °C, designed for waterproofing balconies, terraces, bathrooms and swimming pools. CO₂ emissions are fully compensated throughout the entire product life cycle.

APPLICATION

Waterproofing and protection of concrete structures, plaster and cement-based substrates.

Application examples
▪ Waterproofing of concrete tanks and pools intended for water storage.  
▪ Waterproofing of bathrooms, showers, balconies, terraces, swimming pools, etc. before installing ceramic tile coverings.  
▪ Waterproofing of gypsum board, plaster, cement-based substrates, lightweight cement blocks and water-resistant plywood.  
▪ Flexible protective layer for surfaces subject to slight deformation (e.g. prefabricated panels).  
▪ Creation of a waterproof protective layer on plastered or concrete surfaces affected by shrinkage microcracks, protecting structures from water penetration and aggressive atmospheric agents.  
▪ Protection of concrete columns, slabs, viaducts and other structures repaired with Mapegrout system products against carbon dioxide–induced corrosion, especially where reinforcement cover is insufficient.  
▪ Protection of concrete structures exposed to seawater, de-icing salts (such as sodium chloride), as well as calcium and sulphate salts.
