SEMIN CE86 powder filler for plasterboard joints, 5 kg

SEMIN CE86 powder filler for plasterboard joints, 5 kg is a white gypsum-based powder filler for interior plasterboard jointing. Rounded or bevelled-edge joints can be filled without tape, while tapered-edge boards may be jointed with paper or fibreglass mesh tape. It is also suitable for filling, smoothing, assembly, sealing and decorative texturing.

Suitable substrates: plasterboard, plaster, gypsum blocks, concrete, cement render, masonry blocks, aerated concrete, bricks and clay blocks.

Mixing: for jointing use approximately 2,5-3 l of water per 5 kg bag; for filling and sealing approximately 2,2-2,3 l; for decorative texture approximately 3 l. Mix to a uniform consistency and do not use material that has begun to set.

• working life: approximately 45 minutes;
• start of setting: approximately 50 minutes;
• end of setting: approximately 1 hour 10 minutes;
• maximum thickness per coat: up to 20 mm;
• consumption for plasterboard joints: approximately 0.3-0.4 kg/m²;
• consumption for finish smoothing: approximately 0.4 kg/m²;
• reaction to fire: A2-s1,d0;
• standard: EN 13963.

Application: the substrate must be dry, hard, clean and free from dust or oil. Application and drying temperature must be above +5 °C. Leave an approximately 5 mm gap between rounded-edge boards. Press the filler into the joint and apply a smoothing coat after approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. When fully dry, the surface can be painted, coated or wallpapered.

Storage: 9 months in the original unopened packaging, stored dry and protected from moisture.
