Field of Application

Suitable for colourful designing as well as moisture and UV protection of dimensionally stable wooden parts, e.g. windows and doors, or components with limited dimensional stability, such as panelling with tongue and groove, shutters, gates, framework construction, etc.  Also suitable for wooden parts of unstable shape, e.g. panelling, fences, shingles, balustrades, shuttering, pergola, etc. 
Only suitable for exterior use. The product is provided with a preservative against deterioration in the coating film due to fungal (fungi/mildew/mould) attack.

Note: The film protection agent can only temporarily counteract the forming of fungal growth (attack). On surfaces subjected to extreme loads the fungal attack may occur prematurely. The product cannot fight the cause of fungal attack. The efficiency cannot be projected because it is highly depending on existing biological conditions on site.

This wood stain is unsuitable for use on wooden parts in direct contact with soil. Exterior doors and windows may be treated on all sides with the product. Capadur UniversalLasur is a decorative translucent finish and has a protective effect against moisture (humidity) and UV radiation.

Colours

Standard Colours: 
Pine, Oak (light-coloured), Walnut, Nut Tree, Palisander (Rosewood), Teak, Mahogany, Ebony, Transparent, and a nearly opaque renovation shade for wood grain technique.
All colour shades can be blended in any mixture ratio.

ColorExpress:
Tinting via ColorExpress stations (Capalac mix) in 89 special colours of the Caparol 3D System PLUS colour card and in many colour shades of other colour collections.

Note: Some tints are only limited suitable for exterior use. Detailed information available at ColorExpress stations. Use transparent product only for priming coat (equalising the absorbency of wooden substrates) before applying pigmented coats of wood stain, otherwise a sufficient protection of wood from UV rays cannot be guaranteed.
