Gyproc AluLight Concealed Plasterboard Access Panel 400x400x12.5 mm is a concealed aluminium access panel designed for installation in plasterboard walls and ceilings.

The panel provides convenient access to pipes, valves, electrical installations, ventilation components and other building services located behind the plasterboard lining. It consists of an aluminium frame and a removable door containing a 12.5 mm impregnated plasterboard insert.

Installation: prepare the opening according to the manufacturer's installation instructions. Check for hidden pipes, electrical cables and framing components before cutting the plasterboard.

Insert, align and secure the aluminium frame without twisting it. Fill the joint between the frame and plasterboard lining, as well as the visible screw heads in the door insert. Allow the filler to dry before sanding, priming and painting.

Protect the push-latch mechanism and moving parts from filler and paint. Clean and test the opening mechanism after completing the finishing work.

Important: do not claim a specific fire-resistance rating unless the exact product article and classification document confirm that the panel is an AluLight-C fire-rated version.
