Strait-Flex ARCH-FLEX AF-50 Composite Arch Corner Profile 88 mm × 15 m is a flexible composite profile designed for reinforcing and finishing arched, curved and double-plane plasterboard corners.

The profile is suitable for arched windows and doorways, curved walls and ceilings, soffits, staircases, barrel vaults and other complex plasterboard details. Its flexible construction produces smooth, professional-looking curves without nails, staples or special installation tools.

Applications: suitable for arched windows and doors, curved walls and ceilings, soffits, staircases, barrel vaults, groin cathedral ceilings, free-form plasterboard details and circular air ducts.

Surface preparation: plasterboard panels must be securely fixed to the supporting frame. The surface must be dry, clean and free from dust, grease, loose material and other substances that may impair adhesion.

Profile preparation: measure and cut the profile to the required length. Fold it along the centre crease and adapt it to the required angle. For straight-to-curve transitions, remove the tear strip only from the curved section and leave it intact along the straight section.

Installation: apply a smooth and sufficient layer of all-purpose joint compound to both sides of the corner. Press the profile firmly into the fresh compound and form a uniform curve. Remove excess compound and trapped air using a 100-125 mm joint knife.

Apply a thin fill coat over the profile and feather it into the surrounding surface. Once dry, apply the final coat, allow it to cure completely and sand lightly before priming and painting.

Storage: store in a dry place in the original packaging, above ground level and protected from weather, moisture, physical damage and deformation.
